Filming location: Hong Kong; China, Beijing; Canada
Synopsis: The story starts with Raymond arriving from overseas, and is a rather proud person. His family owns a large enterprise; his father is Damien Lau and his mother is Gigi Wong.
Raymond’s character is a little bit arrogant in the beginning, because his family is doing very well in business, and during one period of time he helped with his family business and did quite well, causing him to become too proud. Afterwards, his family goes bankrupt and he comes across many obstacles. He has to work his way to the top from the bottom and he begins to mature. Meanwhile, he receives a lot of help from many people.
Raymond said that he is working hard to grow his hair long and because the story says that he had just arrived from overseas, he has to speak Mandarin and will also have a lot of scenes with some of the Mainland actors. Also, he said that this character will be a long challenge and that he will work hard.
Damien established his business by shares in a real estate company. After his business died he earned a car dealership. His wife is Gigi Wong and he has two children, Jessica Hsuan and Raymond Lam. Raymond is in love with Charmaine Sheh, and Myolie is his assistant who has a crush on him.
Ron Ng works at the repair workshop his father Hui Siu Hung manages, fixing cars, and sometimes he might take out expensive cars of his customers and drive them around. Mary Hon is his mother, and his stepbrother (same father but different mother), Joe Ma, is also very caring for him. Michael Miu and Sheren Tang’s daughter, Toby Leung, is a reporter for a car magazine and once because she took a car to be fixed at Ron’s place and then discovering that Ron took her car out for a drive, she met him and even developed a relationship with him.
Due to the fact that the whole series talks of the history of a family’s prosperous and poor times, the time span is large. Ron will appear in about episode twenty and he will be playing the character from mid-twenties to forties.

Winter_Stargirl: Surprise, surprise! New layout ^^ It's kinda random, but hope you guys still like it! It doesn't particularly match the upcoming celebrations of Christmas and New Year, though; perhaps I can try and make one for Chinese New Year? A gold and red colour scheme?

The Beehive thanks ...
Fung's Label, Raymond's previous official website and its
webmistress, Sasa, for providing so much of Raymond's news and
information. Without FL, many of Raymond's fans would've been
like little losties, without any clue as to where to find
Raymond's news. FL kept us informed and updated for a total of
2 years. It officially closed on the 21st August 2006, but I
would still always remember it.
52raymond.com, also known as the Lam House.
It was my source of Raymond's media. The fans
there updated new clips or songs of Raymond's very quickly. It
was a brilliant forum, a true home to Raymond's fans. It
officially closed on the 1st September 2006, but I would still
always remember it.
Vickie. She's my beautiful Net friend with a strong command of the
Chinese language and very frequently she helps me with
translations. She's also excellent when it comes to graphics
and even though I haven't actually used any of her graphics in
The Beehive, I still thought that it was worth mentioning.
