Will not be dating anyone within the entertainment industry
Raymond Lam is currently in Shanghai filming Mainland series, The New Breath of Love, and will be staying there for two months. Earlier, he attended the Shanghai Film Festival and afterwards had a gathering with his fans. Originally, the Shanghainese fans had wanted to visit Raymond on the set, but Raymond was worried about their safety getting to and from there, and also that they might interfere with the filming and so asked them not to come, instead preferring to find time to meet with fans at a gathering.
Raymond, who had always loved his fans, met at a bar for two hours with his fans. Even though the decision was made at last minute, already three hundred fans had heard about it and came, making Raymond really happy. On the day, Raymond appeared dressed like a Prince Charming, causing the fans to scream repeatedly. Beforehand, the fans had already written a lot of questions and Raymond answered each one, one by one. A lot of fans were concerned about their idol’s love life; would he choose a fan as his girlfriend? Smiling, he expressed, “I don’t rule out this possibility, the most important thing is that we can communicate,” creating a disturbance among the fans. Raymond’s criteria for a girlfriend is, “Long hair, nice, though whether or not she’s pretty doesn’t matter. However, I won’t date anyone in the entertainment industry, and I haven’t considered getting married yet, because of my economic basis. I’d wait until I have better results, a breakthrough, first! I also won’t simply get married just because of a baby.” (WS explains: meaning he won’t get married even if his girlfriend his pregnant)
Emphasises that he is not homosexual
In the series The New Breath of Love, Raymond and the leading lady Tammy Chen filmed a bed scene; did he feel awkward or have any reactions? Raymond laughed and said, “No, no awkwardness, and also no reactions.” There were also fans who asked him if he’d choose a guy to go out with. His reaction was huge, expressing, “I’m not a Brokeback.” (WS explains: the term must have come from the movie, Brokeback Mountain, about two gay cowboys, I think) The fans immediately started calling out Ron Ng’s name.
To thank his fans, Raymond’s gave out autographed posters and photos, and also took pictures with his fans. He also specially brought some clips of The New Breath of Love to air, leaving his fans feeling pleased, as they were the first ones to see it.

Winter_Stargirl: Surprise, surprise! New layout ^^ It's kinda random, but hope you guys still like it! It doesn't particularly match the upcoming celebrations of Christmas and New Year, though; perhaps I can try and make one for Chinese New Year? A gold and red colour scheme?

The Beehive thanks ...
Fung's Label, Raymond's previous official website and its
webmistress, Sasa, for providing so much of Raymond's news and
information. Without FL, many of Raymond's fans would've been
like little losties, without any clue as to where to find
Raymond's news. FL kept us informed and updated for a total of
2 years. It officially closed on the 21st August 2006, but I
would still always remember it.
52raymond.com, also known as the Lam House.
It was my source of Raymond's media. The fans
there updated new clips or songs of Raymond's very quickly. It
was a brilliant forum, a true home to Raymond's fans. It
officially closed on the 1st September 2006, but I would still
always remember it.
Vickie. She's my beautiful Net friend with a strong command of the
Chinese language and very frequently she helps me with
translations. She's also excellent when it comes to graphics
and even though I haven't actually used any of her graphics in
The Beehive, I still thought that it was worth mentioning.
