Raymond Lam wants to work with Chen Dao Ming
Yesterday, Gigi Lai, Bowie Lam, Kenny Wong, Raymond Lam, Tammy Chen and others arrived at Shanghai’s Film Festival to promote The Dance of Passion and The New Breath of Love. When The Dance of Passion’s actors, Gigi Lai and Bowie Lam, had the firecrackers out for celebration, over one hundred fans rushed forwards, giving the actors quite a scare. Luckily, there were security guards around, controlling the crowds and so it was safe and sound.
Would Raymond Lam, who is promoting a Mainland series, The New Breath of Love, feel awkward because of his identity? He said, “No, this series was organised by TVB as well. I’ve been filming in Mainland for quite some time and I’d most like to work with Chen Dao Ming.”

Caption: Recently, Raymond Lam has been working with Taiwanese artist Tammy Chen; the two are busily working in Mainland
Yesterday, Raymond Lam was present at the 12th Annual Shanghai Film Festival. Being a TVB contract artist, when he met The Dance of Passion’s cast promoting at the same location, he admitted it was a bit awkward, but considering his identity, he would not be going over to help with the promotion.
Raymond Lam, currently in Shanghai, has been busily working on Mainland series, The New Breath of Love with Taiwanese artist, Tammy Chen and Alex Fong, along with others. Yesterday he led his fellow cast members to the 12th Annual Shanghai Film Festival for promotion, meeting his fans there, but unfortunately his popularity did not surpass that of The Dance of Passion’s cast members, including Bowie Lam, Gigi Lai and Kenny Wong, who were right beside him. Bowie Lam was the most popular, his Mainland fans repeatedly calling his name in support, the surrounding fans crowding in tightly; the stage even collapsed because it was supporting too much weight, scaring the three artists back.
Raymond Lam, being asked if he would go over and help with the promotion of The Dance of Passion, said, “Today I’m promoting for the Zhong Yang Channel. Even though I too am a TVB artist, but it doesn’t seem very appropriate to be heading over there.” And during the time when Raymond Lam and Alex Fong were resting and having a chat, beside them appeared Mainland actress, Jiang Rong, sexily dressed and “flirting” with them. However, neither of them appeared very “interested” in here, causing Jiang Rong to feel a bit “bored” with the moment.

Raymond Lam treacherously stealing TVB’s business
Raymond Lam, as a contract TVB artist, was lent to the Zhong Yang Channel to work with Taiwanese artist Tammy Chen on new series, The New Breath of Love. Yesterday, while promoting The New Breath of Love in Shanghai, Raymond Lam was forced to compete against his own mates, as he just happens to meet Gigi Lai and others promoting The Dance of Passion, making the scene extremely awkward.
Besides currently being in Shanghai filming for The New Breath of Love, yesterday he also attended the 12th Annual Shanghai Film Festival, coming in close contact with his fans. But his colleagues, Gigi Lai, Bowie Lam and Kenny Wong were also present, as they were promoting for The Dance of Passion. It was noted that The Dance of Passion’s cast were more popular, the fans crowding tightly around the stall, and the stage even collapsed because it was supporting too much weight, scaring the three artists back.
When Raymond Lam was asked whether he would go over to help TVB promote, he awkwardly said, “Today I’m promoting for Zhong Yang Channel. Even though I too am a TVB artist, it doesn’t seem very appropriate to be heading over there.” And during the time when Raymond Lam and Alex Fong were having a chat doing their rest, beside them appeared Mainland actress Jiang Rong to flirt with them. But the two guys didn’t appear to approve of her actions and Alex Fong even made it obvious with the look of disapproval on his face.

The Beehive thanks ...
Fung's Label, Raymond's previous official website and its
webmistress, Sasa, for providing so much of Raymond's news and
information. Without FL, many of Raymond's fans would've been
like little losties, without any clue as to where to find
Raymond's news. FL kept us informed and updated for a total of
2 years. It officially closed on the 21st August 2006, but I
would still always remember it.
52raymond.com, also known as the Lam House.
It was my source of Raymond's media. The fans
there updated new clips or songs of Raymond's very quickly. It
was a brilliant forum, a true home to Raymond's fans. It
officially closed on the 1st September 2006, but I would still
always remember it.
Vickie. She's my beautiful Net friend with a strong command of the
Chinese language and very frequently she helps me with
translations. She's also excellent when it comes to graphics
and even though I haven't actually used any of her graphics in
The Beehive, I still thought that it was worth mentioning.
