Report on the Concert | Monday, November 06, 2006

Oriental Daily

“Our Century Classics Concert” held its final session at the Hong Kong Coliseum the day before, attracting Connie Chan Bo Chu, Christina Luk Ying Kwan (Madame Li Hau Woh) and Mr and Mrs Yeung Sau Sing to the audiences. Although Liza Wang was performing while she was sick with the flu, she still looked extremely gorgeous in a fluoro-pink, short-fronted, long-backed dress, and she felt gratitude towards the audience for being so forgiving and hopes that she would get another chance to perform the songs again as compensation.

Susanna Kwan revealed that the fact that Ng Wai Kwok got the chance to perform in the Hong Kong Coliseum, even though he wasn’t a singer, caused many actual singers to become envious of him. And when Shirley was performing with Anthony Wong, her foot got caught in the hem of her dress, causing her to almost trip. At this, she laughed that every time she performed with Anthony, something would always happen. She also admitted that she had put in an application for a booking of the Hong Kong Coliseum in 2007 to hold another concert.

As to the after-party, Raymond Lam was late due to a muscle cramp, saying that it was caused from long-time filming work, but thankfully it did not affect his performance. Towards the reports of a crazy fan of Ella Koon’s giving himself up (to the police), rumoured boyfriend Ron Ng expressed that he hadn’t read the newspapers, but thinks that inappropriate displays of acts should be punished by law.

WS: Wee ^^ Thanks to bertha, hkangel and YeeYing for correcting me ^^ What happened to Ella, BTW, does anyone know? And OMG, I found out Madame Li Hau Woh's English name, haha ^^ That's Sir Run Run Shaw's wife (big boss of TVB), in case the name didn't strike you the first time.

The Beehive thanks ...
Fung's Label, Raymond's previous official website and its webmistress, Sasa, for providing so much of Raymond's news and information. Without FL, many of Raymond's fans would've been like little losties, without any clue as to where to find Raymond's news. FL kept us informed and updated for a total of 2 years. It officially closed on the 21st August 2006, but I would still always remember it.

52raymond.com, also known as the Lam House. It was my source of Raymond's media. The fans there updated new clips or songs of Raymond's very quickly. It was a brilliant forum, a true home to Raymond's fans. It officially closed on the 1st September 2006, but I would still always remember it.

Vickie. She's my beautiful Net friend with a strong command of the Chinese language and very frequently she helps me with translations. She's also excellent when it comes to graphics and even though I haven't actually used any of her graphics in The Beehive, I still thought that it was worth mentioning.
