Special: How to post in FF's Guestbook | Sunday, September 03, 2006
He he, a special little something I decided to do, like a tour of how to register to post at Fung Forever's Guestbook, ha ha. Cute, ne?
Firstly, when you enter the site, you'll find this at the top of the page:
Click on the last button and a new page will open.
At the new page, you'll find this:
The Chinese says that you must be using Internet Explorer, so if you're a Mozilla Firefox user, then remember to switch back to IE. When you're ready, click on the white button to advance to the next page.
Ta da! The terms of usage! Scroll down and click on the button on the left-hand side to accept.
Now, enter your information:
The first field is your username. The button beside it is to test availability.
The second field is your password and the third is to confirm your password.
The fourth is where you enter your e-mail address.
Continuing, the left bubble is for boys and the right bubble is for girls.
Then it's your birthdate. Enter your year of birth in the first section, and choose your month of birth and date of birth.
The drop down menu is for you to select where you're from. By default, it should be on the setting as shown in the picture. That says "Overseas." That should be where you're from, otherwise, choose one of the others. The list reads: Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Macau, Overseas.
Next, choose your level of education: Below Elementary, Elementary, High School, University, Masters, Doctor, Higher than Doctor (Wow ... ha ha!)
Then your occupation: *Blinks at the list* (Doesn't know half of the jobs listed) So ... "Student" is the second-last one, and the last reads "Other occupation." We don't have any CEOs (fourth one down) do we?
And lastly, your hobby: I would say you select the second-last one, entertainment ^__^
And now you can finally click on the white button to register!
Once you're done, return to the Guestbook again and hit on the second blue button to leave a message:
If you're not logged in, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the blue button in the last rectangle shown in this pic:
To leave a message:
First field: Subject
Next is font and font size.
Then it's font colour and font glow colour? I think they mean background colour.
The little pictures you can hover your mouse on top to get the English of.
Then we come to the password field (so that you can edit your posts afterwards).
Your name and then e-mail.
Choose a pretty picture to represent you.
And type out your message of "I love you, Raymond!" or whatever you want to type.
The little boxes:
Automatically copy and paste the message to my clipboard (for recovery)
Private message (can only be read by the board master)
The others are just turn off this, turn off that. Don't worry.
And blue button reads, "Finished." Click that to finish!
Also, this is very useful (it's down at the bottom of the page):
The first one is to edit or delete a post.
In the drop down menu, the first option is edit, the second is delete. Enter the number of your post and your password. Click the blue button to confirm.
The second one is to edit or delete a response you've made to someone else's post.
The same as above.
And lastly, the button in the rectangle is to login. Beside that is to "Register your own Guestbook" and "Forgotten Password." And let's hope no one forgets their password ^__^

Winter_Stargirl: Surprise, surprise! New layout ^^ It's kinda random, but hope you guys still like it! It doesn't particularly match the upcoming celebrations of Christmas and New Year, though; perhaps I can try and make one for Chinese New Year? A gold and red colour scheme?

The Beehive thanks ...
Fung's Label, Raymond's previous official website and its
webmistress, Sasa, for providing so much of Raymond's news and
information. Without FL, many of Raymond's fans would've been
like little losties, without any clue as to where to find
Raymond's news. FL kept us informed and updated for a total of
2 years. It officially closed on the 21st August 2006, but I
would still always remember it.
52raymond.com, also known as the Lam House.
It was my source of Raymond's media. The fans
there updated new clips or songs of Raymond's very quickly. It
was a brilliant forum, a true home to Raymond's fans. It
officially closed on the 1st September 2006, but I would still
always remember it.
Vickie. She's my beautiful Net friend with a strong command of the
Chinese language and very frequently she helps me with
translations. She's also excellent when it comes to graphics
and even though I haven't actually used any of her graphics in
The Beehive, I still thought that it was worth mentioning.
