Hong Kong scenes for TLE completed | Sunday, March 11, 2007

Hong Kong scenes for The Legendary Era have been completed I would never have expected the cold to come around again!
That day on exterior filming I wasn’t wearing very much, and sneezed twice in a row. My muscles were aching all over, I had a sore throat and in the end had to see a doctor, coming back home hugging a big pile of medicine. I didn’t dare to tell any of my relatives, because I was embarrassed, of this age already but still unable to take care of myself! I lied down on the sofa, closed my eyes and rested, drank a lot of water, made myself some plain congee - eating very plain - and two days later I was energetically filming again.
Finally, The Legendary Era’s Hong Kong scenes have been completed. Tomorrow, the cast and crew will be driving three hours north to Ningbo to film for the car factory scenes, and it has been estimated that filming will take more than two weeks to complete. Early April we’ll be going to Beijing once again, and at that time, Sha Liao Xi (some drama group, I think?) will be in Beijing, the feeling is very special, and hopefully when the time comes we can celebrate with all the Mainland actors!
Yesterday, the cast took the chance of the last day of filming to have a gathering with the rest of the crew. Jessica Hsuan and I were in charge of the cooking, Director Chung was in charge of barbequing the seafood, Michael Miu brought wine along, and Raymond, a bottle of Litchi chinensis, frozen, with a flavour.
The part started at seven o’clock at night and continued until five o’clock the next morning. With some drinks, everybody relaxed for the time being and had talks. Dad (Damien Lau) hugged son (Raymond Lam) and talked to him about some aspects of life, about life out of the industry. Big sister (Jessica Hsuan) and her little brother (Raymond Lam) were on speaking terms, and would frequently embrace each other, patting each other on the back, just like family. In my eyes I could see that there was definitely some feeling, this image was even more spectacular than those in the series!
Besides drinking and talking, everybody followed Toby dancing. This girl can really dance nice, and even the director and Damien, who are usually the strictest, followed her demonstration and danced in a way that was especially attractive. Unfortunately, throughout the whole event I was too immersed in my cooking and forgot to take some photos, otherwise I could have blackmailed them into treating me to yum cha!
As the morning came and everybody had sobered up, they said their goodbyes left for home to begin preparing for the trip up north the day after. I have yet to pack my belongings, and hopefully the filming process in Ningbo will be smooth; will report to you guys when I come back!

Winter_Stargirl: Surprise, surprise! New layout ^^ It's kinda random, but hope you guys still like it! It doesn't particularly match the upcoming celebrations of Christmas and New Year, though; perhaps I can try and make one for Chinese New Year? A gold and red colour scheme?

The Beehive thanks ...
Fung's Label, Raymond's previous official website and its
webmistress, Sasa, for providing so much of Raymond's news and
information. Without FL, many of Raymond's fans would've been
like little losties, without any clue as to where to find
Raymond's news. FL kept us informed and updated for a total of
2 years. It officially closed on the 21st August 2006, but I
would still always remember it.
52raymond.com, also known as the Lam House.
It was my source of Raymond's media. The fans
there updated new clips or songs of Raymond's very quickly. It
was a brilliant forum, a true home to Raymond's fans. It
officially closed on the 1st September 2006, but I would still
always remember it.
Vickie. She's my beautiful Net friend with a strong command of the
Chinese language and very frequently she helps me with
translations. She's also excellent when it comes to graphics
and even though I haven't actually used any of her graphics in
The Beehive, I still thought that it was worth mentioning.
